EIR Healthcare Brings on Chief Clinical Officer To Better Execute the Patient-Centric "Hospital of the Future"

PHILADELPHIA, Oct. 25, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- EIR Healthcare, the award winning modular innovation firm bringing efficient industrial practices to healthcare, laboratory, and life sciences, today announced that Mauri Lawler will be fulfilling the role of Chief Clinical Officer. Lawler will be helping clients make design decisions based on what is best for the patient and the healthcare team that cares for them. She will be creating a consulting practice that improves the patient experience by working with the healthcare team to leverage the MedModular technology and to create a culture that is focused on the patient and their family.

Lawler has more than 25 years of professional experience, having previously fulfilled senior leadership and managerial roles in clinicals, nursing, and global healthcare implementation services across organizations such as Einstein Medical Center, the University of Pennsylvania, Holy Redeemer Health Services, Siemens, Cerner and EMD Serono (Merck KGaA).

"This was a once in a lifetime opportunity to leverage my nursing and IT backgrounds in a brand new space - modular technology in health services - that I feel confident will change delivery of care drastically. MedModular meets the needs of many healthcare systems I've been on the front lines of, including clinics, urgent care centers, micro-hospitals, even replacement hospitals following natural disasters," said Mauri Lawler, Chief Clinical Officer, EIR Healthcare. "As someone with deep roots in nursing, I feel energized to be able to work for an organization that will have significant impacts on the lives of patients and those that care for them."

Lawler will be joining EIR Healthcare's team effective immediately, ensuring that the design of the manufacturers meet the needs and desires of the patients. She will combine her experience in the medical, technological, and managerial fields to help the company drive overall better patient outcomes.

"I've had the pleasure of working with Mauri throughout my career, therefore bringing her on to EIR Healthcare as an integral member of the leadership team was a no-brainer," said Grant Geiger, Founder and CEO of EIR Healthcare. "Knowing her deep rooted experience across various sectors of the healthcare industry, she is bringing a fresh perspective to our growing company as we aim to bring the first MedModular-built hospital to fruition."

EIR Healthcare launched officially in Philadelphia earlier this month, revealing the life-sized MedModular prototype for a prefabricated, modularly built "smart" hospital room. For more information, visit www.eirhealthcare.com.
