Telos CEO Wins Executive of the Year Award

Wood was named Executive of the Year ($75-$300 million) at the 2018 Greater Washington Government Contractor Awards™ dinner, held on Monday, November 5.

The 16th Annual Greater Washington GovCon Awards, hosted by the Northern Virginia Chamber of Commerce and the Professional Services Council, is the premier awards program honoring the leadership, innovation and commitment to excellence of the individuals and businesses in the region's government contracting sector.

Wood was recognized for his leadership of Telos, as well as his commitment to innovation and efficiency in government. Recent successes at Telos include the deployment of Xacta 360 – a cyber risk management solution – within the intelligence community’s C2S cloud environment, used to accelerate security automation and compliance processes and cloud adoption. As chairman of the newly formed Alliance for Digital Innovation, Wood is working with a group of cloud-forward companies to bring commercial innovation to the government to better serve citizens and the warfighter.

Among his numerous philanthropic contributions, Wood also serves as chairman of the Tragedy Assistance Program for Survivors (TAPS), a national organization that provides care and support for the families of America’s fallen military heroes, and on the board of the Wolf Trap Foundation for the Performing Arts.
