Andersen to Showcase What's Next in Innovation and Sustainable Living at the 2018 Greenbuild International Conference and Expo

BAYPORT, Minn., Nov. 13, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- Andersen, America's premier window and door manufacturer, will be highlighting trends and product innovations that advance sustainable living at Greenbuild International Conference and Expo, held in Chicago, November 14-16.

The Andersen Window & Doors booth (#1203) will expand on the conference's Human x Nature theme to highlight sustainable building practices that help improve standards of living and positively impact communities. Andersen experts will be on-hand to discuss how the newest innovations in smart home technology, indoor/outdoor living, enhanced customer experience and healthy materials are making it easier for the building industry to meeting customer demands for quality, aesthetic and sustainability.

Booth features will include:

-- Yale® Assure Lock®* and Verilock® smart home technology that goes
beyond home security to monitor the status of your windows and doors.
-- Expansive MultiGlide(TM) and A-Series(TM) patio doors that enhance
livability by blurring the line between the indoors and outdoors.
-- Innovative Easy Connect Joining System that makes it easier to install
large combinations of select window products, enabling more natural
light through large "walls of windows," while reducing the amount of
labor needed for installation - saving builders and homeowners both time
        and money.
-- In-booth demos of Andersen's virtual reality experience, providing
hands-on education on window installation for customers and building
        industry professionals.

Building on Andersen's industry leadership in product sustainability, the company today announced its first two Health Product Declarations for Andersen® E-Series casement/awning windows and Andersen® E-Series auxiliary windows.

"Publishing a Health Product Declaration is an important step in Andersen's product transparency evolution," said Andersen product sustainability manager Jon Smieja. "Our company has a longstanding commitment to durability, energy efficiency and sustainable materials. This new announcement bolsters our continued commitment to expand customer visibility into ingredient health and sourcing."

Andersen will present an educational session, "Smart Buildings are Sustainable Buildings: Smart Tech as a transformative Disruptor for the Green Building Movement," on Nov. 14 and Nov. 15. The program will feature panelists from Andersen Windows, Honeywell and ESG Architects discussing how smart building technology can unlock opportunities for transformative energy, water and natural resource savings.
