MiCareerQuest Southeast: Region's largest, one day career exploration event for high school students ever held in southeast Michigan.
WHEN: Wednesday, November 28, 2018; 8:00 A.M. - 2:00 P.M. WHERE: Suburban Collection Showplace, 46100 Grand River Ave., Novi, MI 48374 WHAT: 9,700 students and 600 chaperones from 107 schools in Oakland , Macomb, Wayne, Washtenaw, Livingston and Monroe counties are registered to attend the unprecedented career exploration event, designed to help young people find their futures.
114 exhibitors showcasing more than 125 in-demand occupations in four growing career quadrants: advanced manufacturing, construction, health sciences and information technology. The event is covering 130,000 square-feet of floor space.

More than 600 working professionals from a broad range of companies, trade unions, community colleges, universities and other organizations will be engaging students in interactive demonstrations and other activities designed to highlight the skills needed to succeed in a broad range of in-demand occupations.
COVERAGE OPPORTUNITIES:
Print and broadcast media are invited to tour the four career quadrants and speak with students, chaperones, exhibitors, volunteers and special guests throughout the day.
Interviews with major sponsors, including the Michigan Talent Investment Agency, Oakland County Michigan Works!, Beaumont Health, Construction Association of Michigan and Society of Manufacturing Engineers can be arranged.
Oakland County Executive L. Brooks Patterson will be touring the event at approximately 10:30 A.M. and is available for interviews. A number of other state, regional and local government officials also are scheduled to attend the event.
