Fujitsu Announces 5 Million ScanSnap Units Shipped Worldwide

First released in 2001, the ScanSnap series has since been purchased and used by customers globally for home and office needs alike. Offering both compact, wireless mobile scanners and desktop units with direct-to-cloud scanning capabilities, ScanSnap is recognized for its ease of use and intuitive features.
The ScanSnap iX1500 was recently launched in October as Fujitsu's flagship scanner with a completely new interface, five years after the launch of its predecessor, the iX500. The recent launch has ushered in a new generation of ScanSnap products with an updated brand message, "Capture today. Advance tomorrow."
