DataPath expands billing capabilities in cloud-based Summit platform
LITTLE ROCK, Ark., Feb. 14, 2019 /PRNewswire/ -- DataPath, Inc., a leading developer of technology solutions for benefits administration, announced the launch of direct billing functionality in its cloud-based Summit platform. The enhancement further expands Summit's billing and benefits administration capabilities, in conjunction with COBRA and retiree billing.
"TPAs can use Summit to collect premiums for group health benefits, individual marketplace payments, union dues, or whatever billing their clients need, in addition to managing FSAs, HSAs, and COBRA," explains Greg Licata, DataPath's chief product officer.
The launch of direct billing adds another key piece to DataPath's Summit platform, following the release of COBRA in November 2017, Health Savings Accounts (HSAs) in March 2018, and retiree billing in January 2019.
Launched in 2014, Summit is the industry's only cloud-based solution designed specifically for the seamless administration of consumer directed healthcare (CDH) accounts, including Flexible Spending Accounts (FSAs), Health Reimbursement Arrangements (HRAs), and HSAs, COBRA and billing.
"We want TPAs to take their businesses to new heights with our powerful and efficient benefits administration platform," DataPath President and CEO, John Robbins, Jr. explains. "With Summit, they can accomplish everything they need in a single solution."
