T1V to Host 12 Universities for its First Active Learning Technology Tour (ALTT) at Texas A&M University in College Station, Texas

CHARLOTTE, N.C., Feb. 18, 2019 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- In late 2018, T1V announced it would host a unique active learning grant for leaders in higher education. After making the announcement, T1V received an overwhelming number of applications. T1V originally planned to award 10 Universities a place on its Active Learning Technology Tour, however extended an invitation to 12 Universities total. The grant provides participants the opportunity to visit the Texas A&M University College of Engineering Zachry Complex in College Station, Texas.

The program kicks off Wednesday, February 20, and will include representatives from Universities from all over the country. Each of these participating individuals brings a unique perspective to the collective group, and will be asked to share their learnings in active learning classroom design.

Mike Feldman, T1V CEO says, "We're incredibly excited to showcase how our ThinkHub Connect active learning technology has transformed engineering education at Texas A&M. But perhaps even more exciting - the tour participants will be able to exchange learnings and past experiences with one another." Feldman continues, "We're eager to hear from these individuals and learn about key challenges and pain points in the active learning space - this is an extremely impressive group."

The Texas A&M Zachry Complex is one of the most advanced active learning technology deployments in the country with 18, 100-person learning studios and 14, 50-person learning studios. Award winners will experience the Zachry Complex and interact with the team responsible for this state-of-the art learning environment.

Adam Loritsch, T1V EVP of Sales and Marketing, continues, "...Since its inception, T1V has always had a foothold in the higher education market. With the creation of ThinkHub Connect, the company has experienced tremendous growth in the active learning category over the last two years. Because the technology is so cutting edge, many people have never seen it in action. We're grateful to the team at Texas A&M University for sharing their engineering education campus for our first Active Learning Technology Tour, and are excited for the reactions from participants when they see a deployment of this scale."

Participants will meet with Texas A&M Instructors and IT/Technology decision makers, all while touring the facility and observing the classroom technology in action. They'll hear from fellow active learning professionals from around the country, and together - participants will experience and reflect on Texas A&M's classroom technology.
