BAE Systems posts improving annual profits
BAE Systems, the British maker of military equipment, announced Thursday that annual net profit jumped by a fifth, despite a slowdown in demand for EurofighterTyphoon fighter jets.
Profit after tax rallied 21 percent to £1.0 billion ($1.3 billion, 1.2 billion euros) in 2018 compared with a year earlier.
