Western Bankers Association Announces its Endorsement of Fitech

FORT WORTH, Texas and SACRAMENTO, Calif., March 5, 2019 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- The Western Bankers Association, one of the largest banking associations in the U.S., announces its appointment of Fort Worth-based Fitech as its newest endorsed partner.

After a rigorous application and review process, Fitech earned WBA's coveted endorsed partner status, chosen for its best-in-class merchant services offering, tailored specifically for community banks.

"Fitech is one of the most supportive and engaged members our association has had over the last several years, and we are excited to welcome them as our newest endorsed partner," said Michael Delucchi, Senior Vice President and Executive Director of Professional Development for WBA. "I have full confidence that this relationship will benefit not only both organizations, but will translate into valuable products and services for our bank members."

WBA formed in 2018 as the result of a merger between the California Bankers Association and Western Independent Bankers organization. One of the association's core benefits is to connect its nearly 170 members to preferred service providers that specialize in products and services for the community banking industry.

"This endorsement is particularly meaningful for us, as we worked with numerous member banks prior to WBA's formation," said Shawn Dillon, President, Fitech. "While we are proud of the track record we achieved for these partners, we knew we still had to prove that we can deliver on these results on a much larger scale, serving the larger WBA membership. I am honored by their vote of confidence, and look forward to bringing Fitech's revenue-generating payment services to the WBA family."

Fitech is one of the nation's leading payment processors, bringing immediate and measurable results to every bank and bank association with which it works - currently spanning more than 38% of the U.S. across a 19-state footprint from coast to coast. The company's rapidly expanding nationwide presence is a testament to the strong ROI that Fitech delivers to community banks, specifically by helping these banks grow their merchant services business line.

Fitech brings a wide slate of services to WBA member institutions, including payment processing (at the countertop, via eCommerce platforms, and on mobile devices, as well as through web-based payment portals, also known as Virtual Terminals), ATM solutions, and ancillary services to help member bank's track the profitability of Fitech products.

These services include comprehensive software integration with the bank's core processing or other legacy systems, and extensive online reporting that both the bank and its business banking customer can use for their respective purposes.

In addition, and to help WBA member banks quickly capture their share of payment processing business, Fitech will further support association member banks through a dedicated relationship manager.
