Lune Rouge Entertainment announces Accenture and TELUS as presenting sponsors for PY1, its newest traveling venue

MONTREAL, March 13, 2019 /CNW/ - Lune Rouge Entertainment, a Montreal company created by Guy Laliberté, is happy to announce the support of two major sponsors, Accenture and TELUS. The two companies will act as presenting sponsors for PY1, a pyramid-shaped traveling venue dedicated to the presentation of collective immersive experiences.

Montrealers and those who visit the city throughout the summer will be the first to have access to this original concept. Starting June 2019, PY1 will present Through the Echoes, the first immersive show designed specifically to be presented in the pyramid.

"Lune Rouge Entertainment, Accenture and TELUS share a passion for innovation, culture and community," said Stéphane Mongeau, CEO of Lune Rouge Entertainment. "Their commitment to the community makes them a perfect fit as presenting sponsors of Through the Echoes, which uses innovative technologies, while also presenting a commentary on how it shapes our world."

"At Accenture, we reinvent tomorrow, starting today," said Madeleine Chenette, office managing director for Accenture's in Quebec. "In a world where innovation and disruption come from unexpected sources, we are happy to team with Lune Rouge Entertainment to nurture our local community, reinvent entertainment, and provide a platform for the best of Quebec to continue to shine on the international stage."

"TELUS is proud to put the power of its award-winning network at the service of local creative talent as they explore the relationship between people and technology," said François Gratton, Group President and Chair, TELUS Quebec. "What a privilege for Montreal to be home to this world premiere. The show reflects the innovative spirit for which the city is known around the world. On behalf of the 6000 TELUS team members in Quebec, I wish PY1 success as it travels around the globe to offer the public unique moments of human connection," he added.

PY1 is an entirely new entertainment concept, offering a multi-sensory experience and representing the first traveling venue by Lune Rouge Entertainment. With its iconic shape, the giant pyramid is a unique playground for multimedia experiences. It will allow homegrown digital creators to fully leverage the power of technology. PY1 will hit the road in the fall, taking Montreal creators' ingenuity first to Miami, and then to other major cities around the world.
