CIS Taps GreyCastle Security Founder Reg Harnish for New Executive Vice President of Security Services Position
EAST GREENBUSH, N.Y., March 19, 2019 /PRNewswire/ -- CIS® (Center for Internet Security, Inc.) announced today that GreyCastle Security Founder Reg Harnish has been named Executive Vice President of Security Services.

Harnish will oversee the development and implementation of CIS' Security Services which includes the Multi-State Information Sharing and Analysis Center(® )(MS-ISAC(®)), and the Elections Infrastructure Information Sharing and Analysis Center(TM) (EI-ISAC®), which supports the cybersecurity needs of U.S. State, Local and Territorial elections offices. His responsibilities will also include leading CIS' cyber workforce education and training initiatives.
Previously, Harnish was the CEO of GreyCastle Security, a cybersecurity services provider dedicated to the management of cybersecurity risks. He founded GreyCastle Security in 2011, and successfully led the company through rapid growth and received numerous industry accolades for his contributions to improving the state of cybersecurity.
Harnish is a fellow of the National Cybersecurity Institute. He has authored several books on cybersecurity and is a contributor to the Forbes Technology Council. Harnish is a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), a Certified Information Security Manager (CISM), a Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA), and is ITIL Foundations certified.
Harnish studied Computer Science at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.
