Flex Announces New Chief Human Resources Officer and New President of Communications and Enterprise Compute

Flex (NASDAQ: FLEX), announced today that Phil Ulrich has been named the Chief Human Resources Officer of the 200,000-employee manufacturing solutions provider that designs and builds intelligent products, while Raejeanne Skillern has been named president of the Communications and Enterprise Compute group.

Phil Ulrich, Chief Human Resources Officer

Phil Ulrich will be joining Flex on May 13, 2019. He has helped combine complex organizations, managed global labor strategy and negotiations, onboarded tens of thousands of employees for greenfield plants, and implemented business-centric HR organizations in his previous roles.

Prior to joining Flex, Ulrich was senior vice president, Human Resources, Electrical Sector for Eaton, a global power management company. Ulrich holds a master’s degree in industrial/organization psychology from Clemson University, and a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Presbyterian College.

Raejeanne Skillern, President, Communications and Enterprise Compute

Raejeanne Skillern will be leading the Communications and Enterprise Compute group, starting May 6, 2019, and reporting to Doug Britt, president, Flex Integrated Solutions. The Communications and Enterprise Compute group focuses on data center and telco networking solutions, recording more than $8 billion dollars in revenue in FY 2019.

“Having a cloud expert of Raejeanne’s caliber join our team will help Flex extend and differentiate our product design and services offering,” said Doug Britt. “With two decades of go-to-market experience from product design to delivery, she possesses a deep understanding of the cloud and telecommunications ecosystems.”

Skillern joins Flex from Intel, where she was the vice president of the Data Center Group and general manager of the Cloud Service Provider Platform Group. She managed Intel’s business, roadmap and customer engagements for public cloud infrastructure deployments, helping the world’s largest cloud providers optimize their data center solutions.

Skillern received her MBA from Marylhurst University and her bachelor’s degree in mathematics and computer science from Pepperdine University.
