Kevin T. Foley MD, Joins nView Medical as Board Director and Investor

SALT LAKE CITY, May 9, 2019 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- nView medical develops technology to provide 3D imaging in surgery. The company uses AI image creation algorithms that merge prior information with real-time data gathered during surgery to reduce imaging time and to minimize x-ray radiation.

"Since we first met Dr. Foley we realized we shared the same passion for innovation and had a common vision for image guidance in surgery: for new solutions to be broadly adopted and to disrupt the surgical imaging space, they had to be efficient, easy to use and deployable to a wider range of customer segments", said Cristian Atria, Founder and CEO at nView medical. "Dr. Foley is recognized as the father of navigation in spine, we are thrilled to have him join our board. I believe that his clinical and business perspectives will be of great strategic value as we continue our clinical research and enter the market. We are excited to see Dr. Foley join our mission to make surgery safer, faster and consistently accurate."
