Dovel Technologies Awarded Intelligent Automation/Artificial Intelligence IDIQ

MCLEAN, Va., June 5, 2019 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Dovel Technologies, a leading expert to federal agencies that blends deep domain expertise and advanced technologies in the health IT, life sciences, and grants management markets, today announced that they have been awarded the Intelligent Automation/Artificial Intelligence (IAAI) IDIQ from the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) Program Support Center. This contract vehicle is designed to help HHS to quickly obtain IAAI related solutions, services, and products.

HHS created this IDIQ in response to the promise that IAAI technologies hold in automating tasks, shifting work from low value to high value for government employees; reducing backlogs; and cutting costs to develop needed functions such as predicting fraudulent transactions and identifying critical suspects with facial recognition, among other applications. Examples of IAAI fields or disciplines include automation, machine learning, supervised learning, and machine vision.

"We are pleased to be part of this unique vehicle that will bring cutting edge technologies to the government and transform how public sector work is performed," said Damon Griggs, Dovel President and COO. "Dovel has worked closely with HHS to implement advanced technologies such as machine learning and blockchain to improve federal grants management, and we are excited to introduce additional solutions that can be applied to solving today's biggest challenges."

The multiple award, IDIQ contract has a total estimated value of $49 million over a five-year base period.
