AFTER FOREVER poignantly explores major life changes, focusing on an older gay couple living in New York City who appear to have it all -- until Jason's untimely death forces Brian to think about his own future and ultimately his own mortality, without the love of his life. With universal relevance, AFTER FOREVER (as described by The Advocate) is "a story about love and loss, it's also about being over 50, and when you have no other choice but to rebuild your life from scratch."
The Columbia Film Festival is made possible in part thanks to the support of our key sponsor Anchor Construction Corporation and a generous contribution from the Maryland Film Office. AFTER FOREVER is further presented in connection with Howard County PRIDE, the first ever celebration of sexual and gender minorities in Howard County which is Co-Hosted by PFLAG Columbia-Howard County and the Office of County Executive Calvin Ball.
