Cellcom Israel Ltd. Announces Dismissal of Purported Class Action Filed Against the Company

NETANYA, Israel, July 8, 2019 /PRNewswire/ -- Cellcom Israel Ltd. (NYSE: CEL) (TASE: CEL) (hereinafter: the "Company") announced the dismissal with prejudice of a purported class action filed against the Company's wholly owned subsidiary, and two other Israeli international calls operators, alleging that the defendants unlawfully charge random customers with excessive and unreasonable prices for outgoing calls from Israel.

The total amount claimed from the defendants, if the lawsuit was certified as a class action, was not estimated by the plaintiffs.
