Banyan Hills Technologies Makes the Inc. 5000 List for 2019

ATLANTA, Aug. 14, 2019 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Inc. magazine today ranked Banyan Hills Technologies, an Internet of Things (IoT) company, in position 1209 on its 38th annual Inc. 5000 list, an exclusive ranking of the nation's fastest-growing private companies. This is the second year in a row that Banyan has been featured on the Inc. 5000 list.

With 3-year growth of 319 percent, Banyan has continued to expand over the last year after doubling the size of its Atlanta-area headquarters and servicing customers in the U.S., Canada, Mexico, and Australia.

As part of its celebration for the second year making the list, Banyan plans on giving back to the community by committing a number of volunteer hours teaching seniors about technology at a local assisted living facility.

Banyan Hills Technologies was founded in 2013 by Steve Latham, an IoT expert with over 20 years of technology and industry experience. The company started on the simple premise of helping customers solve for the complexities of IoT, and within only a few years brought to market Canopy, its end-to-end IoT platform. In its next phase of growth, the company is building out an IoT marketplace with an ever-expanding library of business applications and device integrations.

"I am incredibly proud of the entire Banyan team for this honor," said Steve Latham, chief executive officer and founder of Banyan Hills Technologies. "Our passion for helping our customers get the most out of their IoT strategies is reflected in our company progress. Thank you to Inc. Magazine for this recognition, and to everyone involved in making Banyan a success."

The Inc. 5000 represents the most comprehensive look at one of the most important segments of the economy--America's independent entrepreneurs. Companies such as Yelp, Pandora, Timberland, Dell, Domino's Pizza, LinkedIn, Zillow and many other well-known names gained early exposure as members of the Inc. 5000.

Started in 1982, this prestigious list of the nation's most successful private companies has become the hallmark of entrepreneurial success. The Inc. 5000 Conference & Awards Ceremony is an annual event that celebrates their remarkable achievements. The event also offers informative workshops, celebrated keynote speakers, and evening functions.
