IDE Launches WISPR Evolution at DSEi 2019

Koropi, Greece, September 23, 2019: INTRACOM DEFENSE (IDE) participated in the international exhibition "DSEi 2019", one of the largest exhibitions for defense and security systems, which took place in London from 10 - 13 September 2019.

IDE’s exhibition stand was visited by the General Director of GDDIA of the Hellenic MoD, Ret Admiral Kyriakos Kyriakidis, the Field Commander of the British Army Lt Gen Jones, as well as other government and military officials from various countries.

At DSEi, IDE unveiled WiSPR Evolution, the new extended IP edition of the internationally renowned and successful WiSPR vehicular intercommunication system. WiSPR Evolution provides a complete CIS (Communication and Information System) capable of hosting a comprehensive C4I capability, advanced performance and high adaptability to customized operational and technical requirements. 

It is worth mentioning that IDE’s stand was powered in “silent watch” conditions throughout the duration of the exhibition, by the energy storage system of the new 20-40 kW mobile tactical hybrid generator (HGT20K) developed by IDE, which has been of particular interest to the military and business environment.
