In his role, Ennis will be responsible for oversight and leadership of AIS’s three capability based operating groups, as well as business development, supply chain and facilities.

“Steve Ennis is the consummate professional,” Renfrew said. “Throughout his career Steve has consistently demonstrated the character attributes AIS seeks in leaders, specifically humility, accountability, transparency and passion. I believe the combination of Steve’s expertise and his character, makes him the ideal COO for AIS as we continue the pursuit of our vision to build an enduring, employee-centric, customer-focused industrial services provider.”

Ennis joins AIS from another Arctic Slope Regional Corporation operating company, ASRC Federal, where he served as President of AFHC’s Infrastructure Support and Professional Services Operating Group. During his tenure with AFHC, Ennis managed and oversaw a variety of mission critical projects and programs to various federal agencies throughout the United States and 35 foreign countries. In addition to his experience, Ennis holds a Bachelor of Science degree from University of North Carolina–Wilmington.

“This is an exciting time at AIS as the company continues its aggressive acquisitive and organic growth,” said Ennis. “I look forward to partnering with the rest of the leadership team, and engaging with the talented professionals and craftsmen across the organization to identify areas to grow their respective skills, provide safe, innovative solutions to customers and deliver on our commitment to ASRC.”
