Ophthalmologist Ronald Hessler joins Grand Rapids Ophthalmology

Dr. Hessler is a board-certified ophthalmologist performing medical, diabetic, and routine eye exams, as well as small incision cataract surgery utilizing both lifestyle and traditional lenses. Dr. Hessler earned a master's degree in Public Health from the University of Michigan and received his medical doctorate from the University of Michigan School of Medicine. He completed his ophthalmology residency at Tulane University of Medicine and transitional residency at Oakwood Hospital. Prior to joining Grand Rapids Ophthalmology, Dr. Hessler worked at Mayo Health Clinic System-Red Cedar as a clinical ophthalmologist and chief of surgery.
