Atwell Welcomes Drew Powers

Atwell, LLC is pleased to welcome Drew Powers as Oil & Gas Team Leader. Based in Atwell’s Pittsburgh office, he is responsible for client management and providing support to project teams, while also promoting and expanding Atwell’s Oil & Gas operations.

Powers brings more than 15 years of experience in the Oil & Gas, Power, and Chemical industries to Atwell. His experience is primarily in project management, engineering & design, plant operation, natural gas and liquids pipelines, and other associated facilities. Additionally, Drew has extensive field experience managing safety, construction, and startup of complex projects.

Specific to Oil & Gas, his areas of expertise include natural gas gathering systems, metering and interconnects, dehydration and separation, condensate handling, and compression facilities. Serving as President for the Appalachian Basin GPA Midstream Association, Drew has also led diverse teams and promoted industry EH&S standards, risk assessment & analysis, and technical roundtables.

Powers earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Cincinnati, and a Master’s Certificate in Project Management from George Washington University. He is also certified as a Project Management Professional (PMP) and Six Sigma Certified Green Belt Project Lead.
