WBR Announces Inaugural Future Branches Innovators Awards Winners

NEW YORK, Nov. 25, 2019 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Worldwide Business Research (WBR), the world's leading producer of B2B focused marketing events, today announced the winners of the inaugural Future Branches Innovators Awards. The winners were announced at Future Branches Austin (November 18-20th) during a special ceremony at the close of the conference.

The winners of the 2019 Future Branches Innovators Awards are:

Outstanding Branch Design:

-- Daniel Parsons, VP of Branch Operations, BCU for the credit union's
innovative (and fully functional) micro-branch concept. Within a 640
square foot footprint (situated inside the staircase corridor of a
United Health Group corporate office building), BCU is able to offer
many of the amenities of a full-service branch, including a discovery
bar for transactions/advisory conversations, flex offices, a tech bar,
and full and self-service ATM machines.

Most Effective Branch Tech Implementation:

-- Pierre Cardenas, CEO, Capitol Credit Union for the implementation and
launch of NEXT, a fully core integrated self-service kiosk solution.
Since introducing the NEXT kiosk, Capitol has increased the number of
daily transactions while adding value to their members by providing
universal associates more time to act in an advisory role.

Best Revamped Staffing Model:

-- Steve Hamilton, Designer in Residence, Ponce Bank by engaging their
employees and customers in a bottom up, culture-first transformation of
the branches' customer experience. Utilizing the Bank's Test Lab in East
Harlem, 'The Manhattan Project' gave both branch level and corporate
level team members the ability to test and provide input into new
technologies and workflows while energizing their change-resistant
member base by making it a low-pressure and collaborate experience.

"We're thrilled to honor such an exceptional group of executives for their contributions to the banking and credit union industry," said Elizabeth Robillard, Senior Program Director, Future Branches. "The initiatives that they have undertaken exemplify the true spirit of innovation and transformation, and we look forward to recognizing future honorees in the years to come."
