Metalcraft Announces FastTrack RFID Race Timing Tags

Metalcraft introduced FastTrack RFID race timing tags that eliminate the foam backing common among RFID bib tags. Now, racers can wear a flat, weatherproof race bib against the body that gets read at the finish line. Samples are available via idplate.com today.

FastTrack RFID race timing tags feature a unique inlay that performs as well or better than comparable tags that have a backing spacer, and the self-tuning NXP UCODE 8 chip ensures accurate reads regardless of location.

“Metalcraft’s RFID timing tags offer peace of mind to race directors and event participants because, without a foam spacer, these tags stay in place and won’t catch on clothing,” said Kyle Bermel, Chief Operating Officer.

Metalcraft’s tag works with all RFID race timing systems, offering a non-proprietary option for race directors. Custom printing and custom numbering are available at no additional cost.
