FinancialForce Appoints Melissa Frugé as Chief Legal Officer

SAN FRANCISCO, March 17, 2020 /PRNewswire/ -- FinancialForce, the #1 Enterprise Professional Services Automation (PSA) and only customer-centric ERP cloud solution native to the Salesforce Platform, announced it has appointed Melissa Frugé as Chief Legal Officer. In this role, Frugé will be responsible for managing all global legal matters for FinancialForce.

Frugé brings a proven track record of achieving key business goals while reducing risks, developing key policies and processes, and driving worldwide regulatory and legal compliance. She also specializes in complex transactions, including IPOs, acquisitions, and strategic transactions.

Prior to joining FinancialForce, Frugé was Vice President of Legal for OYO Hotels , the fastest growing hotel company in the world, and was also General Counsel for Brandless, Inc., where she led all legal matters including compliance for the venture-backed e-commerce company.

Previously, she was Chief Legal Officer at Spredfast, Inc., running the legal team and compliance, and focusing on SaaS and partner agreements, cybersecurity and data protection, and intellectual property. As SVP and General Counsel at HomeAway, Frugé led all legal, regulatory and governance aspects of the company's $250M IPO, negotiated multiple acquisitions worldwide and led the eventual sale of HomeAway to Expedia. She also previously served as General Counsel for Borland Software Corporation.
