Healthcare providers using RXNT's Electronic Health Records and Electronic Prescribing will be better equipped to identify and prevent substance abuse.
A PDMP is an electronic database for tracking controlled substance prescriptions in each state. They provide prescribers with timely and accurate information about patient behaviors and protect those at the highest risk. Every state (except Missouri) and the District of Columbia have a PDMP.
The alliance between RXNT and Appriss Health gives practitioners the ability to better monitor and manage controlled substance prescriptions 24/7 from anywhere. According to the U.S Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, nearly 70,000 Americans died from a drug overdose in 2019. Over 770,000 died in the 10-year period from 1999-2019.
