Nucleus Cyber Selected by New York Biopharmaceutical to Secure Microsoft Teams
BOSTON, April 23, 2020 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Nucleus Cyber, the intelligent data-centric security company for the modern workplace, today announced it was selected by a New York-based biopharmaceutical company to provide real-time access control and data protection of intellectual property and sensitive information shared between internal and third party users in Microsoft Teams (Teams). Timlin Enterprises, a Nucleus Cyber partner and Microsoft Gold CSP, will work with the customer to deploy the NC Protect solution.
The New York-based biopharmaceutical selected NC Protect to help protect its highly valuable intellectual property (IP), FDA regulated clinical trials of medicines in development, as well as other sensitive company information collaborated on using Microsoft Teams (Teams). NC Protect will enable the customer to secure collaboration in Teams to prevent internal and third party users from accessing unauthorized content, control how sensitive content is shared and who it can be shared with, block the unauthorized sharing of content and alert administrators to the attempt. The solution will also be used to protect documents with dynamic watermarks and enforce viewing of high value and regulated information using a secure viewer. NC Protect will also be used to block Teams chat conversations in real-time that do not comply with policies for sharing of IP and sensitive or regulated information such as personally identifiable information (PII) and protected healthcare information (PHI).
