Recognized as a Better Business Bureau®. business in Texas, Interbrands Group is a leading company specialized in master distribution of retail products and manufacturing of retail packaging. When the COVID-19 pandemic hit in 2020, Interbrands Group pivoted to include production of personal protection products. Hygeia Pure is a fragrance-free antibacterial hand sanitizer formulated with 70% alcohol, which is infused with aloe vera and glycerin. Hygeia Pure is available as a gel, liquid or spray in various sizes.

“Due to the COVID-19 outbreak, we jumped into overdrive to meet the increasing demand for hand hygiene products and began manufacturing hand sanitizers,” said Alfredo Amparan, Managing Partner at Interbrands Group. “We are expanding our U.S. based operations with an investment of $1 million to meet the demand-supply gaps in the country. We provide retailers nationwide with instant access to a high-quality product with eco-friendly packaging as demand continues to skyrocket. In fact, according to Arizton's recent research report, the hand sanitizing market is expected to reach over $11 billion in 2020, representing a growth of over 600% from 2019.”

Since early March, the company has produced approximately 1 million 2 fl. oz. soft squeeze hand sanitizer gel tubes a month with its existing manufacturing plant in Mexico. With the expansion of the new U.S- based production facility in Houston, the company expects to nearly double production with an average of 2.7 million 2 fl. oz. soft squeeze hand sanitizer gel tubes a month. To support the expansion, Interbrands Group will also be adding 15 additional jobs to assist with the turnkey operations.

Slated to begin operations in the fall, the new plant will exclusively manufacture Hygeia Pure hand sanitizers and the brand’s eco-friendly packaging, including travel soft squeeze gel tubes. The range in sizing provides retailers with an array of options, which is ideal for convenience stores and grocery stores, to pharmacies and hotels. Hygeia Pure is available at major retailers and convenience stores across the U.S., including H-E-B. Visit https://hygeiapure.com to learn more.
