A licensed professional engineer in electrical engineering and licensed master electrician in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, Paul has more than 30 years of leadership experience in technology, engineering, higher education, and construction.

As CIO, Mr. Malagrifa oversees management of all GZA information systems, software development, applications, technology infrastructure, hardware, IT risk management, and plans and implements strategic IT initiatives to facilitate and enhance the digital transformation and growth of GZA's business.

Prior to joining GZA, Mr. Malagrifa was a leader of Schneider Electric's enterprise IT organization and spent 20 years with Harvard University's Campus Services organization in roles from staff electrical engineer to Managing Director of the Campus Services Technology and Logistics group. Early in his career, he was the President and Owner of Westland Electric, an electrical engineering and construction firm that specialized in institutional and health care clients.

In April 2017, Mr. Malagrifa was appointed by Massachusetts Governor Charlie Baker to the Massachusetts Board of State Examiners of Electricians, on which he now serves as vice chair. He also is a member of the Finance Committee in his hometown of Wrentham, Massachusetts.

Mr. Malagrifa received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering from Tufts University, with minors in Computer Science and Business. He is a graduate of the Society of Information Management's (SIM) Regional Learning Forum and has been delivering and leading business case studies through SIM’s Leadership Development Roundtable since 2002.
