First Centennial Mortgage Partners with Fox Valley Habitat for Humanity to Build first house in Batavia, IL
AURORA, Ill., Oct. 21, 2020 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- First Centennial Mortgage is partnering with Fox Valley Habitat for Humanity by donating $175,000 to fund the building of its first home in Batavia, IL.
"This is our 25th year in business so we wanted to do something special for our community to celebrate our anniversary," said Steven McCormick, President of First Centennial Mortgage. "We've supported Habitat for Humanity for years and believe in their mission. Partnering with them in this way brings what we do full circle."
The public is invited to a ground-breaking ceremony on Wednesday, October 28, 2020, at 9:00 am at the site of the new home for the Owino family at 10 Independence Drive, Batavia, IL.
The Batavia Chamber of Commerce will host the ceremony along with Batavia Mayor Jeffery Schielke, and Illinois State Representative, Karina Villa. Orange Home Services, AAA Door Teks, and Bulldog Plumbing along with other community partners will attend and offer brief remarks. Heidi's Cake & Pastry and Gun Barrel Coffee will provide refreshments.
Construction on this home is scheduled to begin in the Spring of 2021.
