Linc Housing Welcomes Anne Wilson as Chief Real Estate Development Officer

LONG BEACH, Calif., Dec. 14, 2020 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Today Linc Housing, a nonprofit builder and manager of affordable and supportive housing throughout California, announced that Anne Wilson has joined the executive team as chief real estate development officer. In this newly established position, Wilson will bring her expertise and relationships in the affordable housing industry to support Linc's expanding pipeline throughout the state of California.

"Linc has grown considerably over the past few years, and we want a highly experienced executive to help lead us to the next level," said Rebecca Clark, Linc Housing president and CEO. "Anne is well known as one of our industry's brightest, most transformative leaders with her 30-year track record of success in multifamily affordable housing real estate development, policy, finance, and business planning. Her addition makes Linc's future brighter than ever."

Wilson, who reports to Linc Chief Operating Officer Suny Lay Chang, has extensive experience in mission-based real estate development, nonprofit corporate management, and a proven track record for driving strategic revenue, production growth, and opening new markets. In her new role, she oversees Linc's housing development operations including acquisitions, new business development, project financing, and construction administration for all Linc properties. She'll also support Linc's external partnerships and advocacy efforts.

"I am excited to join the executive team at Linc and to lead a talented and widely respected group of housing development professionals," said Wilson. "Linc is uniquely positioned to increase production and initiate new strategies to address the housing crisis in Southern California and statewide, especially at this time when the pandemic's impact on the economy and health puts more strain on working and unemployed families."

Wilson comes to Linc most recently from Chelsea Investment Corporation, where she supervised development teams responsible for financing and building a pipeline that includes mid- and high-rise communities, general apartments, and supportive housing. Prior to Chelsea, Wilson was senior vice president for housing and real estate development at Community HousingWorks in San Diego. Over her 16 years there, she quadrupled the size of the portfolio, repositioned assets, and created new sources of revenue which substantially increased the financial viability of the organization. Wilson's professional experience also includes serving as the founding San Diego program director for Local Initiatives Support Corporation (LISC) and community development work in the Boston area.

Wilson earned a master's degree in urban studies and planning from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology serving a fellowship at the Center for Real Estate and a bachelor's degree from Wesleyan University. She has been recognized for innovations in finance and sustainable design, including the Urban Land Institute's Award of Excellence - The Americas. In 2018 she was given a Community Hero Award by KPBS and National Center for Conflict Resolution for her work and advocacy in affordable housing.
