Keirton Inc. Appoints David Goodman As New Head of Content

Keirton Inc. (“Keirton”), a global leader in engineering solutions that streamline commercial cannabis and hemp cultivation, today announces the appointment of David Goodman as its new Head of Content. A key addition to the Keirton team, Goodman brings with him a robust network and extensive experience in brand development and cannabis marketing accrued over a decade long career in the industry. He will play an integral role in propelling Keirton toward its 2021 growth targets, while supporting the company’s mission to transform the North American cannabis industry through first-to-market automation technology and exceptional customer service.

“Our connections with our customers and our growers are what we value the most at Keirton,” said Jay Evans, CEO of Keirton. “Their experiences guide our innovation and inspire our mission to address some of the market’s largest pain points. David’s wealth of professional experience in this space will be instrumental as we continue to transform the cannabis and hemp sector and bring Keirton’s Twister to more growers and facilities across North America.”

Prior to joining Keirton, Goodman operated as the Chief Marketing Officer of California-based harvesting equipment provider, Triminator. In addition to overseeing the company’s marketing activities and nurturing a North American portfolio of industry relationships, Goodman played a critical role in the launch of the industry’s first whole plant harvester for hemp. He also created the first harvest education centre for the hemp industry in the United States, and successfully led a team of brand ambassadors educating on post-harvest handling processes.

“As a story-teller, David has an innate ability to foster organic, two-way conversations with the people and growers at the forefront of the cannabis industry,” adds Neil Diguangco, Vice President, Marketing at Keirton. “We’re excited to work with him and learn from his industry insights to grow our community, while continuing to highlight the stories of the growers at the heart of it all.”

In his new role, Goodman will be responsible for Keirton’s North American content and brand strategy, with the goal of expanding cultivator and processor relationships, and managing a team of global ambassadors to accelerate the company’s market share and visibility.

“Keirton’s industry-leading technology is not only transforming how the cannabis sector operates,” said David Goodman, Head of Content at Keirton. “By prioritizing the voices of its customers, Keirton is innovating solutions, at scale, that address real world problems and empower growers to thrive. This is a story I couldn’t be more thrilled to share, and an award-winning team I couldn’t be more proud to join as I continue my cannabis journey.”

Effective today, Goodman will step into his new role as Head of Content at Keirton and will be based in the Northern California and Southern Oregon region.
