According to a study from researchers at De Montfort University in Leicester, United Kingdom, SARS-CoV-2, the virus which causes COVID-19, lingers on fabric, like clothing or upholstery, for up to three days. On 100% cotton, the virus lasted for 24 hours, while on polycotton, the virus only survived for six hours.
