IAG backs out of Air Europa purchase
British Airways owner IAG said Wednesday it no longer intended to complete it's purchase of Air Europa, although it is still would like close cooperation with the Spanish airline.
IAG initially agreed to pay 1.0 billion euros just months before the Covid-19 pandemic broke out.
