Payloads - Stabilized EO / IR Payload Systems

CONTROP has been developing and manufacturing EO / IR payloads since 1993. CONTROP's wide range of payloads provide an excellent and cost effective solution for any mission!

  • CONTROP payloads are gyro-stabilized in two or three axis, using 3, 4 or 5 gimbals. The payload system provides a high quality image with exceptionally high resolution (in the narrow field-of-view), which is independent of the platform's maneuvers and vibrations. Image quality is kept while looking both horizontally and vertically.
  • CONTROP's wide selection of payloads includes a variety of products which differ by size, weight and types of EO / IR sensors, as well payload applications.
  • CONTROP payloads are available from a weight as low as 0.75 kg for STAMP Miniature Stabilized Payloads, up to 46 kg for a large Multi Sensor Payload.
  • CONTROP payloads differ in the types of sensors which are utilized in each payload, including:

Stabilized Gimbals

CONTROP's SGA-2 is a gyro Stabilized Gimbal Assembly, which can accommodate various optronic payloads. The SGA-2 is a two-axis generic Gimbal Assembly, stabilized azimuth and in elevation. It is designed to carry an optronic payload made by CONTROP or made by any other manufacturer.
