HSW with a contract for the two additional Regina Division Fire Modules

September 7, 2022 - On the eve of the inauguration of the XXX edition of the International Defense Industry Exhibition in Kielce, Huta Stalowa Wola S.A. concluded a contract with the Armaments Agency for the supply of selected components to two additional REGINA Divison Fire Moduless, equipped with 155 mm KRAB self-propelled howitzers.

Huta Stalowa Wola S.A. will produce and deliver to the Polish Armed Forces 48 KRAB howitzers and accompanying equipment: 22 command vehicles, 12 ammunition vehicles and 2 weapon repair workshops for two REGINA Division Fire Modules. The contract will be implemented between 2025 and 2027, with a value over PLN 3.8 billion.

- Another significant order for the supply of selected REGINA elements is the best answer to all questions that have been asked recently regarding Huta Stalowa Wola S.A. Today's contract is yet another confirmation of our competences, the craftsmanship of our technologists and the potential of the national defense industry.

I can promise you that this is not our last word on this subject - said Sebastian Chwałek, President of the Management Board of PGZ S.A.

- We are consistently developing our production capacities, which allows us to offer our clients a wider and wider range of products. Krab howitzers, Rak mortars, ZSSW-30 turret systems or tank destroyers are solutions that we’re already providing. The next step for our company is the new Borsuk infantry fighting vehicle, which will soon appear in the Polish Armed Forces - emphasized Jan Szwedo, President of the Management Board of HSW S.A.

The first REGINA Division Fire Module was delivered to the Polish Armed Forces in 2017 on the basis of an implementation agreement concluded between Huta Stalowa Wola S.A. and the Armament Inspectorate of May 12, 2008.

The contract for the supply of four REGINAs (a total of 96 KRAB howitzers with specialized vehicles) was signed by HSW with the Armament Inspectorate on December 14, 2016. The total number of cannons provided by those agreements and the annex from December 16, 2020, is 170 units that will be used by the Polish Armed Forces.
