L'Australie a annoncé jeudi nouer un partenariat avec le britannique BAE Systems pour la construction de sous-marins à propulsion nucléaire, deux ans et demi après avoir rompu un accord avec la France visant à développer sa capacité navale face aux ambitions chinoises en Asie-Pacifique.
