EU clears Lufthansa bid for ITA Airways stake, with conditions
The EU's powerful competition regulator on Wednesday announced it has approved German airline Lufthansa's proposed stake in Italy's ITA Airways, subject to conditions.
"The approval is conditional upon full compliance with the remedies offered by Lufthansa" and by the Italian economy and finance ministry, the European Commission said.
