American poker player set to make history with Guinness World Record attempt, streamed live to a global audience
SAN JOSE, Costa Rica, Sept. 12, 2025 /PRNewswire/ -- ACR Poker today announced that US poker player Nicholas Rascona, age 41, will attempt to set a new Guinness World Record for the longest marathon playing online poker. It will start at 9:00 am ET this Sunday, September 14th, exclusively on ACR Poker's popular online platform and live-streamed for audiences worldwide.
Rascona is aiming to break the current Guinness World Record of 49 hours, held by Spanish poker pro Sergio Garcia since 2023. Having prepared both mentally and physically, Rascona is ready to take on the challenge, and if successful, his achievement will mark a historic milestone in the world of online poker.
As part of the latest world record attempt, Rascona will be focused on playing micro-stakes tournaments, with ACR Poker supporting him by providing some bankroll and $109 tickets to compete in big events like the Online Super Series XL, currently running until Tuesday, September 30th.
