PROTOTYPA offers the following services in the field of weapons and ammunition:

• Research and development of functional prototypes of small and medium caliber automatic weapons and ammunitions and their mountings.
• Research and development of unguided aerial rockets and/or aerial missile vehicles and anti-tank hand-held weapons.
• Studies and professional opinions, analyses of causes of failures of weapons, ammunition and aerial equipment (especially of parts related to or containing pyrotechnics).
• Testing of weapons and ammunition under normal and arduous conditions.

The Company's portfolio also includes development and manufacture of aerial rockets/missiles, rocket engines and booster systems for unguided aerial vehicles.

PROTOTYPA has developed e.g.:

• booster device START-145,
• rocket engines RMM1-145 and VRM ZÁCHRANA-145 for unmanned spy aerial vehicle SOJKA-III/TV and its modifications (for which PROTOTYPA currently is the main manufacturer of its components).

The following services are offered:

• research and development of aerial unguided aerial rockets/missiles;
• research and development of booster systems for unguided vehicles and for guided and unguided aerial rockets/missiles;
• research and development of hand-held anti-tank weapons.

An experienced team of professionals, acting under the trademark of PROTOTYPA – is prepared to consult on any matters of development, manufacture, testing and exploitation of hunting, sporting, historical, military and special weapons, and ammunition for them, as well as on any problems related to testing methods, instruments and devices, aerial rocket/missile carriers for unguided aerial vehicles and other special technical products.

The testing station for weapons, ammunition and protective means offers the following tests:

The Company offers use of its tunnel type shooting gallery also for sporting purposes, for social events and company presentations. Five firing tunnels are available in length from 25 to 100 meters, and all types of weapons, short or long, including percussion arms, historic muzzle-loaders etc., may be used.

Together with the shooting gallery the Company's social setting rooms, intended for company's presentations and social events, may be used. Those rooms are equipped with the latest presentation gear and a complete technical and gastronomical support.

Prototypa-ZM is a monopolistic supplier of ballistic measuring devices in the Czech Republic. The company develops, manufactures, supplies and tests instruments for calibres of up to 35 mm.

Measuring instruments for testing of calibres for hunting, sporting, pistol a revolver type weapons are manufactured in accordance with the C. I. P. international standards. Ballistic measuring devices for testing of military calibre ammunition are manufactured and tested to appropriate military standards (TP-VD, TPF, STANAG, MIL etc.).

Universal Ballistic Breech UZ-2002
The universal ballistic breech UZ-2002 has been developed by Prototypa for testing the ballistic parameters (values) of the rifle, pistol, revolver and shotgun cartridges, rimfire cartridges and pyrotechnical cartridges for expansional devices and for sporting and military weapons. UZ-2002 supports carrying out standards CIP, NATO, MIL and TP-VD standards (military methods for testing the cartridges of the Russian origin).

Intelligent Light Gates LS 04
This equipment measures velocity and rate of fire. It utilizes optical sensing of projectile passage. The basic equipment contains an integrated evaluation unit equipped with WLAN module enabling wireless communication to a display terminal (desktop PC, notebook etc.).

At the same time it makes possible a direct connection to LAN (10/100 Ethernet) and contains a standard RS 232 interface. Processing of captured data is done via incorporated client software for MS Windows (95, 98, NT, 2000, XP) and Linux operating systems that displays immediate and statistically processed measured values and their graphic presentations.

Ballistic Analyzer BA04S
The analyzer serves for comprehensive measurement and evaluation of the ballistic values. It is equipped with four measuring channels enabling measurement of pressure development by means of piezoelectric sensors. Furthermore, it has two universal inputs available for connection of sensors for measurement of discharge duration. Altogether eight inputs are available for connection to light gates.

The analyzer may be configured and controlled via the BA-CONTROL application software suitable for MS Windows (95, 98, NT, 2000 and XP) operating system. A measurement protocol is subsequently created from the values measured and it may be exported to any other software via ASCII code.

Mobile Firing Rest STZA 12
Mobile firing rest STZA 12 is modern equipment for ballistic testing houses serving for clamping of guns of calibres of up to 12,7 mm.

The clamping equipment is designed to suit a set of exchangeable adapters and enables clamping of a wide range of arms, including ballistic measuring devices.

Mobile Firing Rest STZA 13
Mobile firing rest STZA 13 is the latest modification of STZA 12. Firing rest STZA 13 is equipt with transverse movement mechanism with range ±150mm.

EPVAT
EPVAT is a comprehensive device enabling ballistic testing stations to electronically measure and process measurement data of ammunition ballistic parameters (pressure development in barrel, speed of projectile and duration of discharge).
