Caidmark was set up in April 1986 to offer engineering services and develop software for engineering and scientific applications. Appointed by the Royal Malaysian Air Force (RMAF) as Service Authorised Contractor (SAC) to perform Aircraft Structural Integrity (ASI) and Condition Based Maintenance (CBM) activities on the F/A-18D, C130H, MiG-29 and Hawk Mk 108/208 weapon system.

For the military sector focus is in Condition Based Maintenance (CBM). The firm offers ECMS which is a general purpose database system designed to track the location, configuration, life usage status, condition and maintenance history of serialized aircraft components.

ECMS covers both engine and structural components and is applicable to naval and other large machineries. It also provides Aircraft Structural Integrity (ASI) engineering support for data analysis, structural usage monitoring, finite element analysis, loads development, engineering investigations, aircraft structural integrity management plan and fatigue and damage tolerance analysis.

A Service Authorized Contractor (RMAF) to the Royal Malaysian Air Force for CBM and ASI services for the F/A 18D, Hawk 108/208, MIG 29 and C-130H Lube Analyst, Filter Debris Analyzer (with EDXRF) and MetalSCAN.

The firm also provides solutions in process simulation and in reliability engineering. It supports VMGSIM, a steady state simulation software form Virtual Materials Group and has implemented Plant Information System (PIMS), CBM, RCM and expert system based frameworks.
