Additionally, BRAKE ORGANIZACION CHAID NEME HERMANOS – COFRE S.A. manufactures and trades brake fluid for the local aftermarket.

History

1959: ORGANIZACION CHAID NEME HERMANOS – COFRE S.A. begins operations as a manufacturer of brake fluid located in Bogota, Colombia.
1972: The company starts manufacturing Automobile Steel Wheels.
1976: The company begins manufacturing steel wheels for trucks.
1991: As a subsidiary of ORGANIZACION CHAID NEME HERMANOS – COFRE S.A. emerges MADEAL. MADEAL is a manufacturer of Alloy Wheels, located in Manizales, Colombia.
1995: The company begins operations at the CATAFORESIS plant.
1998: The company starts Tubeless Truck Wheel trading.
1999: Opening of the Powder Coating plant.
2002: Production of light and heavy truck Tubeless Wheels.
2006: Manufacture of embossed discs for heavy truck.
2008: Manufacture of embossed discs for light truck.

ORGANIZACION CHAID NEME HERMANOS – COFRE S.A. has achieved multiple quality certifications and awards, ranging from standard production to those required by its own customers. Among these are: The Certification of Environmental Management System under ISO 14001:04 and the Quality System Certification under ISO/TS 16949:2002 - SE.
