Mexico was the first country in Latin America where GENERAL ELECTRIC established its operations. The Company initiated operations in the country in 1896 and established its first factory in 1929. Since then, Mexico has become an international technology, innovation and manufacture center for GENERAL ELECTRIC.

GE employs over 10,000 employees in the country. Its main operations are concentrated in 17 manufacturing plants and five service centers.

In its facilities in Mexico, the Company is dedicated on the development and launching of different projects ranging from renewable resources to the development of solutions for the conservation of water and the design of environmentally friendly turbines with better technologies. Mexico took advantage of the talent and ingenuity in the region to design engines, valves for oil companies and offer financial solutions that stimulate business growth.
