NINGBO RONGYI CHEMICAL FIBER SCIENCE & TECHNOLOGY CO. LTD., is a high-tech enterprise integrating R&D, manufacturing and marketing, located next to the south end of the world-famous Cross-Hangzhou-Bay Bridge, in the Industrial Park of Zhouxiang Town, Cixi City, with an area coverage of 200,000 square meters.

At the end of 2008, the Company commenced its cooperation with the US Company, SEG Armor and has been authorized to use POLY-X and POLY-EX trademarks in China.

And in 2010, NINGBO RONGYI initiated its cooperation with the head office of China Xinxing Import and Export Company and has been since then its appointed enterprise in China.

NINGBO RONGYI is proud for its strong scientific and technological capabilities, innovation, sophisticated production equipment, and operation and management. Since its initial operation in August, 2008, all products passed QC inspection and reached the top level domestically.

The Company is devoted to R&D and manufacture and has established long-term full cooperation with state-level R&D institutes and universities.

The high-performance polyethylene fiber manufactured by the Company, is one of the three high-performance fiber in the world today, namely, carbon fiber, aramid and high-density high modulus polyethylene. The new fiber is a high-tech product, which has been widely used in military equipment, safety protection, aviation and navigation, sports apparatuses and medical devices.

The Company’s main products are unidirectional fabrics, bullet-proof jackets, bullet-proof helmets, and personal body armor plates. They are all known for their high-density, perfect weatherability, high energy absorption, X-ray transparency, low electric conductivity and seawater corrosion resistance.
