In 2019, the UK MoD recognised the potential of Military Robotic and Autonomous Systems (RAS) with a multimillion-pound Transformation Fund to fast-track military robotic projects onto the battlefield. This heavy investment into RAS capabilities is one of the key Army development priorities for the UK MoD, with the continued integration of these systems into regular Army units.

SMi Group proudly presents the 4th Annual Military Robotics and Autonomous Systems (RAS) Conference, returning in April 2021 as a fully interactive virtual meeting.

The conference will revolve around the British Army’s five RAS priorities of situational awareness, lethality, manoeuvrability, survivability and sustainability, as well as cover other main themes such as counter-IED, deep learning, AI, international cooperation, and communication systems.

Highlights for 2021:

  • The only international event with a dedicated focus on military land robotics
  • New for 2021: An emphasis on Unmanned Combat Vehicles, Situational Awareness, Enhanced Autonomous Capabilities, and battlefield manned/unmanned teaming; new speakers from the US, the Netherlands, Israel, Norway, NATO, and more.
  • Engage globally with the leading military and RAS experts, bringing together those at the centre of RAS operation, training, development, and integration.
  • Discuss online the latest trends, programmes, products and strategies of RAS technology and witness how this dynamic military field is shaping the course of warfighting today.

SMi Group’s Virtual Platform allows you to network virtually, watch live briefings, view on-demand and learn in safety!

All attendance by military and government is £499 and commercial delegates can join for only £999.
