Media Advisory: American Cable Association Announces Administration And Congressional Speakers For 25th Anniversary D.C. Summit

WHAT:
The American Cable Association (ACA) Summit enables independent small and midsize broadband, phone and video providers that connect hometown America to engage with leading lawmakers and regulators on communications policy in Washington, D.C.

During the Summit, hundreds of ACA members will share their business views on a range of policy issues, including closing the digital divide, media ownership, retransmission consent, and providing regulatory relief to small entities. ACA members will also share how they have transformed traditional cable companies into broadband leaders that foster economic growth by connecting rural and small-town America to advanced communications services including high-speed Internet, telephone and over-the-top video.

Created in the early 1990s, the ACA Summit gives independent providers a vehicle for framing the diverse and complex issues in their own words during dozens of meetings on Capitol Hill and with regulators at the Federal Communications Commission.
