Notice of Data Privacy Event
Portland, ME - April 11, 2025 - Endue Software ("Endue") is providing notice of a recent data security event that may have affected personal information related to certain individuals.
What Happened? On February 17, 2025, Endue learned of potential unauthorized access to certain systems. Upon learning of the activity, Endue immediately took steps to secure its environment and began an investigation to determine the nature and scope of the activity. The investigation determined the activity was the result of a cybersecurity event and an unauthorized actor accessed certain computer systems for a brief period of time on February 16, 2025. During this time, files from certain internal systems were copied. As a result, Endue undertook an extensive review of the involved files to determine whether they contained sensitive information, to whom the information relates, and to which clients affected individuals' information was provided from. Endue is now notifying all potentially involved individuals.
What Information Was Involved? The types of information that may have been impacted varies by individual and may include: full name, address, Social Security number, date of birth, and/or medical record number.
How Will Individuals Know If They Are Affected By This Incident? Endue is in the process of mailing notice letters to individuals whose protected information was contained within the files at issue and for whom it has valid mailing address information.
What Affected Individuals Can Do. As a precautionary measure, individuals are encouraged to remain vigilant against incidents of identity theft by reviewing their account statements, credit reports, and explanations of benefits for unusual activity and to detect errors. Any suspicious activity should promptly be reported to the appropriate insurance company, health care provider, or financial institution.
