EMSCU has undertaken a compliant EU tender exercise under the restricted procedure of the Public Contract Regulations (2015) to establish a national DPS Framework Agreement for body worn video devices, DEAMS (Digital Evidence and Asset Management Software) and ancillary products, services and solutions for a period of 4 years +1 +1 from the 29.1.2019.
The contractors shall provide a service through which other contracting bodies can access data which is specified within the specification, this is an indication of the broad specification for services that OCB's may require over the lifetime of the contract. The provision of body worn video devices, DEAMS (Digital Evidence and Asset Management Software) and ancillary products, services and solutions is an indicative outline of our requirements and not exhaustive of the provision and capability required.
The Police and Crime Commissioner for Nottinghamshire and Northamptonshire (the Contracting Authority) has established a multi supplier DPS Framework Agreement for the provision of body worn video devices, DEAMS (Digital Evidence and Asset Management Software) and ancillary products, services and solutions. The framework has 3 separate lots, with the intention of attracting a wide range and varied supply base for UK Police Forces, Police Crime Commissioners and the wider UK public sector bodies which include:
— Central Government Departments and their Arm’s Length Bodies and Agencies,
— Non-Departmental Public Bodies,
— NHS Bodies and Local Authorities, and other permitted organisations:

Lot 1: Provision, either through Lease (Lot 1A) or freehold (Lot 1B), of Body Worn Video (BWV) Devices including associated accessories and equipment, with the provision for warranty and extended warranty cover. In the event a DPS Participant requiring anything further in terms of additional services it should look to procure a wider “solution” under Lot 3 of the DPS.
