22/029 - Flow meters for Water and Wastewater Services

Water meters
The objective of this QSQ is to qualify Applicants onto the Qualifications System for the supply of water meters within the following five lots:
1. Rotary Piston Meters with Radio Units
2. Electromagnetic Meters
3. Mechanical meters, including combination, turbine and single jet
4. Inline Ultrasonic meters
5. Radio units suitable for connection to water meters (clip-on or wired)
Supply of concentric and inline rotary piston water meters in accordance with the Irish Water Technical Specification for Water Flow Meters IW-TEC-1000-01-04, and the provision of associated services and after sales support. The meters will typically be DN15 (and predominantly concentric), with smaller numbers of inline and larger sizes to be supplied. The meters are to be supplied either with integrated radio units or external radio units that are connected to the meter in factory conditions.
