Construction Works for Stage 6 of Riga Airport Terminal Expansion
SJSC RIGA INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT intends to use part of the proceeds of a loan from/grant administered by the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (the Bank) towards the cost of the Construction Works for Stage 6 of Riga Airport Terminal Expansion. Contract will be subject to the Bank's Procurement Policies and Rules and is open for participation for firms from any country, unless otherwise specified in the procurement documents.
The type of contract and the procurement method is Open Tender Two Stage with PQQ. A full description of the procurement exercise is available within the documentation and is available free of charge in the Bank Client E-Procurement Portal (ECEPP).

Construction work
Construction Works for Stage 6 of Riga Airport Terminal Expansion.
As part of the construction works, it is planned to significantly expand the existing public part of the Riga Airport passenger terminal (including check-in hall, security control, baggage claim and arrivals hall) to the east of the existing terminal complex, as well as expand the terminal for Baggage handling System, reconstruct of the premises of the existing terminal building in sectors E, F and D, build road and parking solutions, including a new flyover at the departure level and a multi-storey car park, construct underground tunnel for baggage delivery for connection with RailBaltica station building. During the construction works, the terminal of Riga Airport shall continue to function and serve passengers, ensuring the continuity of aviation processes and not lowering the level of safety and security at the Airport, as well as organizing appropriate public access to the terminal.
