The US Army Medical Research Acquisition Activity (USAMRAA) in support of the Walter Reed Army Institute of Research (WRAIR) is issuing a solicitation for non-personal services to provide technical, administrative personnel and materials to support the operations of the Pilot BioProduction Facility (PBF) at WRAIR, Silver Spring, MD. The PBF conducts research, development, production, and testing of vaccines and other biological products. Vaccine production is performed following and products are tested in compliance with current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP). A Cost Plus Fixed-Fee (CPFF) type contract is anticipated with a one-year contract with four one-year option periods. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 541712 with a size standard of 500 employees. This contracting office will issue no hard copies of the solicitation.
